The NSW state government looks set to follow its W.A counterpart into political oblivion, it seems to be beyond the comprehension of coalition parties to grasp that the voters have moved on from accepting their corruption and lack of vision and integrity as normal political conservative behavior, and is their lack of economic understanding, possibly due to the high numbers of lawyers and solicitors in their ranks and could possibly be the explanation for their total lack of economic and sensible fiscal policy , we all know that accountants can’t count to 20 with their shoes, on (E.G Barnaby Joyce ), so maybe current economists are 20 years behind in their fiscal ideology, E.G the Federal Reserve Bank that thinks you need a sledgehammer to crack a peanut.
Agreed mostly Braddybear, with the addition of South Australia’s emasculation of their anti-corruption body that was UNANIMOUSLY passed in both houses by BOTH parties and Victoria’s Labor government has a stench about it too hey. i.e. the problem is not confined to liberals. So what is it that fosters … whether it’s soft or legal, call it corruption? Because THAT’s what we need to change. Is it career politicians that need to have their tenure limited? Will THAT fix it?
Hard to imagine that Amy Brown could have ‘exceeded expectations’ in the area of communication skills when she was being recruited to her own position. She’s babbling and waffling and the “me (sic) and my colleagues were quite disillusioned ” – yuck.
Perhaps when she was interviewed it was because of multiple intersection points.
Based on her evidence so far, I wouldn’t say “G’day” to Amy Brown without making a file note.
Amy Brown first said Jenny West didn’t get the role because of “performance concerns”, now it is because she didn’t have the “confidence of the minister”. But, she insists chose West, and she was in control all the time… but the minister is now the reason she chose Barillaro?
Not credible Amy. Not at all.
Seems that Premier may well have a bit of skin in the game!
Hope you keep digging.
