The ABC’s Four Corners report on the goings-on at Sony Australia was a good follow-up to the reporting earlier this year from Nine. Four Corners averaged 887,000 viewers nationally.

Nine won because of The Block. Its 1.17 million nationally easily accounted for SAS Australia (880,000) on Seven, even though Home and Away on 1.62 million national viewers handed SAS Australia 989,000 of them. The Block was handed 1 million from ACA (and 1.32 million from the final half hour of Nine’s news).

Ten’s Celebrity MasterChef averaged 760,000 for its second night and seems condemned to linger around that level. Have You Been Paying Attention? averaged 922,000 and again saw a big turn on from MasterChef, which tells us a lot about the attractiveness of MasterChef.
