The Australia Day holiday meant viewing was low across the day and disrupted from 6 to 7pm with two BBL games on Seven at differing times.
But there were a couple of points. Another night, another elimination on Ten’s I’m A Celebrity and viewers didn’t much care -- 853,000 watched the elimination, 54,000 fewer than watched the lead up (907,000). Not a good look as it has become something of a habit this season.
The other point was that with two important games in Seven’s BBL and a holiday, viewers tuned out and Seven lost the night, easily to Nine, just as it did on Monday and Sunday nights. The BBL is simply too long and Seven is too greedy.
