Just a dud of a night. Nothing worth watching at all and I’m A Celebrity failed to cash in, although it finished fifth nationally with 1.023 million viewers. With nothing on Seven or Nine (both running dead), you would have thought Ten could have convinced another 50,000 to 100,000 viewers to stay with Celebrity or visit?
Of the top 10 programs in metro markets last night, eight were news or current affairs and the other two were Home and Away and I’m A Celebrity. That tells us how boring the offerings were after 7.30-8pm for most of the viewers.
The top 5 regional programs were: Home and Away with 50,999 viewers; ABC News, 389,000; Nine News, 365,000; RBT, 363,000; The Chase Australia 5.30pm, 359,000.
In the morning Today had another narrow metro win over Sunrise, 341,000 to 334,000. Not much in that one. Sunrise still won nationally.

February 27, 2016 at 12:47 amI’m thinking that the 7 network might be massaging their figures somewhat with a claimed 245.6% channel share.
