Parallax Podcast #22: super-duper festive season special!

It's the film podcast God intended you to hear. In a "so chunky you can't carve it" festive season special The Parallax boys talk The Hobbit and Life of Pi, the best films of 2012 and then move onto something very...special.

[podcast][/podcast] It's time for a stuffed socking full of treats for cinephiles and film appreciators: The Parallax Podcast's super-duper festive season special! What's in the stocking? Good question. Thank you for asking. Hosts Luke Buckmaster and Rich Haridy open the show with a discussion of two of the biggest festive season releases: Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and Ang Lee's visually sumptuous adaptation of the best-selling novel Life of Pi. Then, Buckmaster and Haridy are joined by cult film guru and fellow critic Zak Hepburn for a round table discussion about the best films of 2012. After that, The Parallax Podcast has (very possibly) a world first. Ever wondered what a taxi driver thinks about the cinema? Or whether they would consider starring in their own movie? Or whether a federal minister has ever... The Parallax boys present an answer, from the back seat of a cab, straight from the horse's mouth. If you don't believe them, listen to the first couple of minutes of the show for a teaser.
