“Offensive language”? Like hypocrisy?
Ever used that 4-letter “c” word or been on continuing friendly terms with those that have – I bet there a few of these “outraged” politicians now, that fall into that “class” that have?
I bet some have used it to describe others of their “calling”?
“Yeah I smoked it but I didn’t inhale”; the new paradigm translates to “yeah I said it but I spell it a different way”.
Reminds me of the old drovers sitting around a camp fire bragging about how many head of cattle they mustered and transported single handedly. Each bragger outdoing the other until the last bloke says, “well I single-handedly took 300,000 head from Alice Springs to Hobart”. “Bull-shite” said the other drovers, “How did you get across Bass Strait?” they asked; “I didnt go that way” he said.
To me, watching those we elect “to represent us”, across the country, in their various “counting houses” acting as they do, is like watching something between “Fame” (or some other drama academy) & “Pavlov’s dogs – sitting for their finals”?
And I’ll bet there a a lot of these presently outraged one-eyed “c’s”* in our msm (benefitting us – since we can’t be there – having to rely on their edited/framed version of events – from their view of what’s happening) that have fallen into the same category?
KLEWSO: If it will make you feel any better, I got flung off an on line newspaper for using the ‘c’ word. I’ve repented, and am back in the fold. Which is one of the reasons I get so cross with the moderating machine. I really do try to avoid contentious words.

October 11, 2012 at 12:36 pmI have to resist the temptation to have T-shirts with ‘botch’ printed to wear out and about in my lovely electorate.
