Brilliant! Angry starfish finally gets a well deserved gig defending freedom on Crikey.

Strewth, I’m so jealous of him that it hurts. The Rodent probably even sends a birthday card. So much to be envious of, where to begin…

You didnt draw enough pricks on him FD.
Sounds like Cronulla all over again to me. Just had a funny vision of the convoy of the incontinent under their used incontinence aid flag with a picture of the Bobby Dazzler in the corner where the queen should be, meeting the offended masses on the beach. Hurling insults at each other while the Bobby Dazzler gets on stage with the LOTO to urge them on to a good old fashioned witch burning. What? You mean its already happened?

despite the ongoing attacks by the CoT and the loss of many antecedent polyps (none of whom died of shame) the reef remains resilient

That “level of vitriol, hatred and plain nastiness”?
Can’t he take a joke – like the ones he tells?

    When the night goes
    The signal grows on radios
    Full of strange things
Bilious flows, all ripe for scorning
Stranded starfish have no place to hide
With self regard all swollen up inside
There’s no point in selection, we cannot
    Even choose to hide.

    Lord, here comes the flood
He hurls abuse at ties of blood
And when the air is silent
    The sponsers act surprised
To find they’re tarnished, those who’ve paid him cash for jive.
Drink up, dreamers, you’re running dry.

    That’s a chocolate starfish, obviously.

Oh, klewso, you know he’s just a bully, and like all bullies, not very good at . . .

    Lordy, how to put it.

I think the broadcaster is more akin to a chocolate starfish
