On Sunday evening, the Freeplay Independent Games Festival awards were announced at a special event hosted by comedian Lawrence Leung. As in previous years, the Freeplay awards proved to highlight an interesting and diverse array of upcoming indie Australian games worth keeping an eye on. The highlight of the night was certainly the acceptance video from Cipher Prime Studios, who won the Best International Game, which you can see above.
The event capped off a long weekend of events at the festival, my wrap-up of which is coming later in the week.
