    Re Newman rumours…

Here’s hoping that the one who would be Leader of the Opposition whilst not in parliament will soon soon find himself the Premier without a party despite being a member of the party of government.

Sort of balanced, from my perspective.

    Re Newman rumours….

Clive Palmer’s amazing spray at Newman on lateline Sept 12 was followed up by Indepenedent MP Peter Wellington also predicting Newman’s demise before Christmas.

The original plan appears to have been for Newman to win the election for the LNP (that no sitting MP seemed capable of doing) then retire and run for a Federal seat at the next election.

The second part of that plan now seems unlikely, now that voters and the LNP have seen Newman actually perform very badly.

But those expecting Newman to depart early are ambitious and restless. And the backbench is increasingly bored and restless, excluded form any input into anything the Goverment does.
