My grandfather was a dairy farmer. I have memories of being a little tike, watching the cows mosey through the daisies to the milking shed as grandad cast a watchful eye over the herd.

Two uncles were dairy farmers; and I thought Manual Labor was a spanish bullfighter.

We had a cow at home when I was growing up and milking her was my job. We learnt respect very early in life.

MJ, I pulled tits for a few years. We wuz real carful not to get sh1t in the milk, ay, because the inspectors would cancel your contract. Scrupulously clean, pipes run through with hot water, refrigerated vat, and washed udders..

Dr Mick, I wonder what happened to your cow after she was retired, and before her new home became a crematorium? Hopefully something kinder and more respectful than what usually is the fate of dairy cows.

And why is my comment from 3.33pm still in moderation? Is it because I used too many CAPS?

And why do people keep calling me Mr?

    So so many questions.
