Also spare a thought for the poor creatures who suffer in the production of HRT medication.

Meantime each morning I’m prepared to live with the guilt of tortured soy beans.

Dog thanks for the reminder why I gave up eating red meat 20 years ago.
Zut, if I recall correctly, we share the same ethical dairy-persons … Maleny Dairies?
    Or Eumundi Noosa/Cooloola Milk?
Not sure of their permeates but their bona fides are just spiffing

    Holden,
Being a breast fed baby, I tried sticking to the milk formula you suggest, you know, mano et mano, cow et cow, but the trouble I got into trying to fill the ladle with the free range lady milk providers was just not worth the black eyes anymore. My eyesight got too poor to milk the rats any longer and I couldn’t catch the goats; so its supermarket milk for me. I miss the warm sensation of milking but not the scratching, abuse and beatings.
Thanks to the supermarket milk, I also miss the taste of milk as well.

DRMICK, as I recall, the in-dairy experience involves a fair amount of bovine waste as well – watching the cups fall off an udder into a pile of green sh1t – sucking it up the line and into the vat’s enough to put you off real milk forever.

Post script: how to clean out the line ? More milk, of course. No, seriously, proper dairies use chemicals and iodine and nuclear waste.

Zut, wasn’t that why George W Bush invaded Iraq – to save the curds ?

EMC, Maleny and Ivyhome, the latter is organic.

Mike, the curds, eh? Thanks for that, I’ve often wondered what the reason was.

Sooo, hands up everyone who is, or has a family member who is a dairy farmer!
