Thanks Dog and Crikey for every time I have been moderated. You did us both a favour. It would be nice if, in the name of justice and true free speech, he an his acolyte parasites were put in glorias` handbag and chucked out to sea though.
Whatever the reason, the demise of Bolt’s pool of cess should be applauded by all fair minded folk. My infrequent visits always left me aghast at the extent of the mean spirited ignorance on display.
And while you’re here, perhaps you could explain why it is that Mr Mr Spee Freech himself hasn’t even mentioned the matter, particularly since it’s a Labor proposal that really *will* entail a significant breach of the UN Charter on Human Rights?
‘And to then pretend to be offended by a satirical cartoon is fairly low-grade trolling, and amusing at best.’
Nah, sorry, he’s right.
Crikey is bottom of the barrel. The most breathtaking thing being that supercilious psuedo intellectualism.
If Bolt had a satirical cartoon of anyone ‘fap, fap, fapping’ over a Carbon tax pamphlet or a Peter Garret record (rhwombat) you’d be Jeremy Sear Seething all over the shop.
It is unfortunate that Bolt has stopped allowing comments. As much as I tended to disagree with a great number of them I always find it interesting to try to understand someone elses point of view. Some of the links he publishes are interesting.
Piers Akerman seems to attract the most loyal followers though – anyone posting contrary views there is instantly pounced on and flamed by Piers self appointed guardians. And Piers usually takes the time to personally remind me that I need to “get over the fact that my side will lose the next election”. Still, I can occasionally have a worthwhile exchange there with some of the posters.
PATRIOT: Despite your fervor for your country I notice your avatar appears to depict an Indian army officer during the battle for Lucknow during the Indian Mutiny. Fourth Gurkha regiment?
Regarding my avatar, it is extraordinary that so many of you lefties are unfamiliar with Kurt Westergaard’s famous depiction of Mo hammed. Absolutely extraordinary!

That Bolt’s blog has had comments shut down is a terrible blow for democracy
If so, what have you to say about this:

July 16, 2012 at 11:03 pmIf it’s bottom of the barrel, Pipboy, why do you participate? Bolt doesn’t do satire, it’s one of the things beyond him.
