dearest doggest de la luna mio mine,
    bravo,
    here here!
    and all that other
    congratulatory stuff!
    the slippery slope
    to health
seems to be a long slog of a climb
    for most in this
    wide brown land,
    but wouldn’t it be fun
just for a day, or a week
or a month or maybe even a year,
to imagine what Oz would be like
sans tobacco, alcohol and hypercaffeine drinks
    and all those other things
that people here seem to believe are
essential elements of fun and frolic….
    just imagine
    what fun people could have
out of the haze…and safe on the streets..
and while we are at it,
    imagine a wide brown land
    sans industrial so-called “food”…….
so sad to think it is just
    an imaginary state…..
not this land girt by seas….
    imaginingly hopingly truliest yours,
    moi aussie

@FD: Compulsorarily? or compulsorily. Depends if you like orientated over oriented. :^)
    </witless pedantry>

@Andy: No, I’m thinking the caning would be another attraction. Smokers are masochists.

Where is DrMick when you need him? A half-serious question: I have noticed (through a previous employment) a high preponderance of smokers amongst the mentally ill..

LOL I know we should enjoy all things in moderation.
But it makes posting in the dogonaught lounge a tad difficult.

@PlonkOClock- Many professionals have noted this. It’s a little bit of self-medication- nicotine is a really cunning drug and can do many different mood-altering things – and a little bit of a distraction, and something to do with your hands.
