Who says money cant buy friends; he paid enough for someone to call him a national treasure. That must have cost a packet.

I’ve got a spare $20 – is that enough, or do I just get a facebook friend for that?

Is Clive from Queensland? Maybe he can run for Kevin’s seat.

But does he have a cat?

Zut ! Tes, Hattie indeed ! Sadly, by today’s standards, I reckon they’d be flyweights.

FM and I saw not one, not two, but three people in a restaurant recently who would have made Mr Creosote look like Spiderman. It was scary and I couldn’t enjoy the food due to the fear of an exploding pink giant super nova at the next table.

He might be able to buy a treaureship, but he will also have to pay people to follow the map to dig him up.
I don’t like his chances. Once they start digging, and find iron ore, he is going to stay buried. Up to his buccaneers and over his head I reckon.

Mike – you couldn’t relax, not even for the wafer thin mint?

(I knew an iron ore – she married a rich dude and became an Iron Lady)

@Innoncent: It’s been demonstrated that stupid people are more likely to vote conservative.

It’s also been demonstrated that stupid people are more likely to use IE.

Therefore it’s safe to assume conservative voters are more likely to use IE.

Clearly Crikey is engaging in censorship, I assume because they don’t think conservative posters will write nice enough comments about first dog. Grab your pitchfork. 😛

PLONK: I left a message for you in yesterday’s FD. Did ya get it?

    Perhaps we are all wrong? Clive Palmer has left a billion dollars for A R T ???? Or C O N S E R V A T I O N ??? And my name is Bob Brown.

Do Aboriginal communities or medical research count? If so, take a look at this, Bob Brown.

Look, I don’t know anything about Clive Palmer except that the guy is filthy rich from mining. But that doesn’t make him any worse a person than many I’ve met on a base salary.
