Meanwhile in the ‘real’ world, Bob Katter complains that without his name in the Australian Party’s on the ballot papers in Queensland, no-one will know for whom to vote.

Re problems displaying FD in IE, I second Holden.
This group gave me good advice on this a little while back and I now mostly use Mozilla Firefox.

The fact that people are still using IE to try and access FDOTM is actual proof of the premise of this cartoon. Beans, indeed.

@ Jones Rob what are these interests and why are they wearing vests?

I hope they’re OH&S approved fluoro ones, that way we can see where these vested interests have come from and where they’re going.

    @ Holden

I used to think Mussolini was a type of pasta, until I discovered Smirnoff.

@ Stevo – but if they’re still using IE is it likely they will see your proof of the hypothesis?

    Oh, hang on…

On the Dunning-Krugerites: They make sure their boss doesn’t know either! You never want to be their invisible (until some blame needs to spread around) “assistant”.

    I talk to the trees
And they take polling from me
    I talk to the stars
    And they preselect me !

    The place as a whole
    Needs smarter peasants than we

    Clive talks to us all
    In vain

The fact that this web site still doesn’t support IE is the real proof of the premise.
The majority of IE users either have no choice (use a computer at an IE only site) or no pretensions to IT competence. But Crikey sells a web based product and IE, flawed as it is, is a major browser and should be supported unless potential customers are informed that Crikey has a policy of not doing so.

Sorry, the pedant in me has escaped: “phenomena” is the plural of “phenomenon”…..
