“Brer Rabbott and the TA baby”?
And here’s one I prepared earlier!
(And I think it depends on how you cook them – wrens not babies.)

mmm … ‘My First Policy by Tony Abbott’ displayed on a copy holder, there, in the header … mmm … me seriously thinkit this is ‘My First Baby-Steps Policy by Aony Tappit’ (adjusts pince-nez).

A policy on bathers, not on swimmers, Zut!! Innocent Until, are you egging Zut on or just opinionating regards this as an attempt at apolitical correctness?

Wouldn’t it be funny if they did call a snap election. Bereft of policies, Knuckles would be caught with his bathers down and would have very little to talk about…..in more ways than one.

If Jasper does come up with a winning strategy for the Bad Abbott,
will it be a case of pulling a rabbit out of a cat?

yeah, ok, it’s late in the day …

Not at all, ‘shoe; just nostalgiaising. Bathers is Adelaidean for what Sydneyites call swimmers.
May I second MJ’s salute, Drovers Cat.

Innocent Until: Pun alert. Swimmers, yes, bathers … swimmers are also wrigglers (the wrigglers that make babies) … double entendre (my exclamation means ” a policy on bathers, not swimmers [after all].”

Regards my quip about correctness: I was teasing further by asking if you were ‘egging’ Zut on, thus attempted a follow-up biological quip taking gender into consideration. I asked further…or [are you] in general opinionating for apolitical correctness [ie that the word ‘swimmers’ ought not be used but bathers].

I attempted to fool/tease as well by playing the characters, Zut Alors and Innocent, tongue-in-cheek.

Please let me know if this explanation does not suffice. Accept all my humble apologies. (yellow jello gooey melting face).
