A very very senior position in the South Australian Crown Solicitor’s Office is up for grabs and a selection committee had made a recommendation to fill it. But the committee’s selection has been over-ruled and the job will now be filled by Deb De Palma a relative of the Premier’s wife, and his close personal friend. De Palma was most recently in the spotlight in an Economic and Finance Committee hearing where her association with the Premier was also referred to in Hansard. The appointment is causing a storm in the public service corridors.

If he passes the test, his star is in the ascendancy. If not…
Michael Grenenger, Advertising Director of BRW, is rumoured to be “leaving” FBM.

Perhaps Crikey media operatives can upload the edited tape to a share website for everyone? CRIKEY: Perhaps a Ten insider wants to leak the tape to us?

The latest explanation is that it takes about three months to process a refund on a credit card. Is that another way of saying that there is a funding crisis at Jetstar?
