Wall St is close to free fall, the US, probably in recession, is also obliviously celebrating the first major conniption of its extraordinary and almost hysterical presidential political process, BHP is gunning for perhaps the biggest corporate play the world has ever seen, Brendan Nelson may be about to apologise (if only for his hair) …. what a morning. But there is more; other events are afoot. Ben Cousins has agreed to take part in an exhibition fight on an Anthony Mundine undercard in February to raise money for drug awareness charities. Cousins said he wanted to give his support to the campaign to raise public awareness of drug issues.

If anyone has conspicuously contributed to raising the public awareness of drug use it’s Ben Cousins. Bravo. And now, back to the US primaries…
