Games give Nine a weekly win at last. As expected the Nine Network
last week scored its first ratings week win of 2006, thanks to the
Commonwealth Games. Nine finished the week (complicated by difficulties
with Saturday night’s ratings info) with a share of 38.3% from Seven
with 25.1%, Ten with 18.7%, the ABC with 13.5%, SBS with 4.4%. However
Nine didn’t score a clean sweep in the five major metro markets: Seven
won Perth because of the three hour time difference meant the high
rating evening session for the Games started at 4pm Perth time and
ended around 7.30pm to 8pm. Nine, of course, had the biggest audiences
of the week with the Opening ceremony and the Thursday and Friday
evening sessions. But Seven’s Dancing With
the Stars
and Desperate Housewives were in the top 10.

Last night’s TV ratings.
Unfortunately we were unable to produce a
report on last night’s ratings due to problems with delivery of the
figures. The daily report will return tomorrow.
