Communications Minister and deputy Senate leader Helen Coonan needs a new atlas. She doesn’t appear to know the difference between the Indonesian province of Papua and Papua New Guinea.

A simple error anyone can make, really. And it’s not as if Indonesia or PNG are of any real strategic interest to Australia, are they? Still, let’s hope the minister doesn’t spend any time here – “Lost world found in Indonesian jungle” – or she may disappear entirely up her own fundament.
