For the past three or four months it’s seemed as if every time you turn a page in a Fairfax paper there’s a job ad for more sub-editors at the world’s most expensive financial newspaper.

It makes you wonder how many subs a paper could need – and judging by the Fin‘s front page today the answer is: more than they’ve got now.

Note the difference between the headline (“Greenspan cuts rates one last time”) and the story (“Greenspan ended his 18-year tenure by raising US interest rates to 4.5 per cent …”).
