Sprung! Last night’s Media Watchon the ABC
exposed big-noting Sydney PR Queen Sue Cato and her pretentiously-named
spinning firm, Cato Counsel trying to spin public opinion on the Cross
City Tunnel, Sydney’s PR disaster of the year.

For Ms Cato, the
publicity couldn’t be more damaging. She advises Telstra and would
expect to be a key adviser during the T3 process, whenever that
comes. But first she’s got to get through the big review of the Telco
promised by management for midway through next month.

And if
you’re a client or prospective client you’d have to be suspicious of
any PR group that gets caught in the public arena trying to influence
public opinion.
