Before last night’s big lecture, Mark Latham had an informal round-table chat with about thirty of Melbourne Uni’s political science staff and students where he continued his tirade against the machine-men of modern politics. But Crikey sources tell us that in a very brief but loaded comment Latham mentioned how good it felt to be back in a uni again, and that next year he’ll hopefully be doing more of it. Could Iron Mark be positioning himself for an entry into the cushy world of academia next year?
