Last night Victorian Premier Steve Bracks presented his 2005 annual PROGRESSIVE
BUSINESS AWARD
to Patricia Piccinini.

This is the first time the Premier’s Award has been
given to the visual arts.

At the award ceremony, The
Premier acknowledged Patricia Piccinini as one of Australia’s leading
contemporary artists who, in 2003, represented Australia at the Venice Biennale and was nominated by Art
News America
as one of the ’10 people who are making waves in the art
world’.

Congratulations Patricia!

We are pleased to announce that Patricia Piccinini
will exhibit new work at Tolarno Galleries next March to coincide with the Melbourne 2006 Cultural
Festival.
