Rumours are swirling in the media world that the press baron Rupert
Murdoch, who is six years into his third marriage, is about to file for

Sources close to the couple say the relationship between global
media baron and his wife Wendi Deng, a former executive in his Star TV
business who is 40 years his junior, has become strained.

Friends of Murdoch, 74, say he’s finding his wife’s behaviour increasingly “erratic” and “irrational.”

The media baron has been married three times. His first marriage ended
in the late 1950s after only a few years. In 1961 he married an
employee, journalist Anna Murdoch.
They had three children, Elisabeth, Lachlan and James.

Anna and Rupert divorced acrimoniously
in 1998 after it was suggested that Murdoch had been conducting a long-running affair with another employee, Wendi Deng, a junior executive in News Corporation’s Asian operations.

Murdoch has four children from his previous marriages and two young children with his current wife.
