A minor reshuffle means we’ll see what The Age
proudly calls “the first Victorian Nationals MP to sit in federal
cabinet for more than two decades” when Peter McGauran takes the agriculture portfolio.

Nice to see that The Age is happy. The word around the Min Wing
on Friday afternoon was that the man himself was far from impressed. He
had his heart set on transport – but that part of John Anderson’s old
fiefdom went to the Nats new deputy, Warren Truss.
