Is there such a thing as the lowest common dominator in the Australian political arena? Journalist Cathy Border doesn’t think so. Anyway it may be of some chuckle value for you to hear that the Premier of Queensland’s eldest son, one Denis Beattie aged 19, has recently adorned his inner thy with a tattoo.

It’s a black outline of the rolling stone symbol, you know that tongue and lips thing (approximately 4 x 6cm). And you can print that with complete confidence, its absolutely true. Personally I doubt its newsworthiness, but I am a long time fan of your site and decided I would attempt to contribute some item, albeit its trivialness. If you’re wondering how I know this – I am an associate of the lad and have seen the tatt myself.
