Turkey today sees itself under attack by the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) and so naturally invokes the old Bush doctrine, in which any country that harbours terrorists becomes itself a legitimate target. Why aren’t the Americans keen on this? Jeff Sparrow reports.
