Are you Crikey’s next Website Editor?

Crikey is in the market for a new Website Editor.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • a voracious appetite for news
  • a very good understanding of the Crikey voice and ethos
  • multimedia experience
  • an ability to edit copy, and write a snappy headline very quickly
  • sharp writing and sub-editing skills
  • the ability to come up with social networking strategies and new ideas to engage our readers
  • the ability to work closely with the subscriptions/marketing team
  • a demonstrated knowledge of developments in the field of online journalism
  • a team player, with great communication and organisational skills
  • adaptable, quick thinking, able to work to deadline
  • able to establish a great relationship with Crikey’s contributors and bloggers, and also commission new voices
  • the ability to work with web developers, designers and editors to further develop the website
  • knowledge of WordPress, Photoshop and basic HTML preferred.
