The Crikey team

Sitting around the Crikey news desk every morning are editor Jason Whittaker, production manager Leigh Josey, senior journalist Andrew Crook, journalist Amber Jamieson, website editor Luke Buckmaster and subeditor Mick Vaughan (plus the occasional intern). First Dog on the Moon cartoons appear daily, and he’s taken up residency in the office as well.

In the engine room are CEO Amanda Gome, publisher Marina Go, general manager Amber Sloan, marketing/subscriptions manager Jade Butler, subscriber services coordinator Anastasia Pantzis and our advertising sales force Private Media Sales.

Lobbing stories in from far and wide are Canberra correspondent Bernard Keane, media writer Margaret Simons and our correspondent at-large Guy Rundle. Regular and irregular contributions arrive from many members of the Crikey community.

The owner of Crikey is Private Media Pty Ltd, which, along with Eric Beecher includes Crikey life member and marketing guru John Addis from Tyagarah (we don’t know where that is either) and creative director Chong Weng Ho from the place he calls Far Kew. Private Media owns a portfolio of premium independent online publications including SmartCompany, Startup Smart, LeadingCompany, Property Observer and The Power Index.
