Biasometer

The sun rises over another day of the election campaign. You grab a newspaper and a coffee. You read that the Government is on the way back, the polls say it's so. You get to work and your boss tells you Howard is a goner -- she saw it in the paper, the polls say it's so. You turn on the radio, the TV, the computer, you're bombarded with facts, comments, opinion, and you ask yourself one simple question: who can I trust?

Well, Crikey can't tell you who to trust but we might be able to help confused voters understand why they trust them (or not, as the case may be).

Crikey's Bias-o-meter evaluates the commentators, newspapers, press gallery, blogs, magazines, radio shock jocks and TV commentators, and tells you who's shooting at the electoral cross-hairs and whether they're aiming left or right.

But remember, as you pore over the Bias-o-meter and its findings, there’s an obvious disclaimer: We’re biased.
