Ellis is the House’s youngest member and
Labor has made sure her fresh, telegenic face is caught by the Parliamentary
cameras every Question Time … canny.
Adelaide has seesawed in recent times and in 2004, it was
Greens’ preferences that got Labor over the line (despite polling less than the
Liberals on primary votes). The Liberals have a cashed up candidate in Tracy
Marsh, but with the polls the way they are Ellis seems set to be returned.
