Inner city: Sydney’s lower north shore, including such suburbs as North Sydney, Neutral Bay, St Leonards, Lane Cove and Hunters Hill.

Member: Hon. Joe Hockey (born 1965), since 1996.

A safe seat, but Hockey will draw heat from the unions for his job as Minister for Workplace Relations. The doctors’ wives and other similar demogrpahics may also be a potential problem, but are unlikely to cost Hockey his seat.
