Safe Liberal, 11.1% (post-redistribution).
Outer suburban: south-western edge of Sydney, based on Camden and most of Campbelltown, plus a semi-rural area from the northern part of Wollondilly Shire, including Orangeville, Oakdale, Appin and most of Picton.
Member: Hon. Pat Farmer (born 1962), since 2001.
Previously a litmus seat, Macarthur has been shifted around by successive redistributions and now looks secure for the Liberals.
