This cartoon alone, is worth another year’s subscription to Crikey for telling the true truth about eggplant!
An absolute Abbott of a vegetable.
I misread ‘kale’ as ‘Kyle’ - that’s what I’d call a substantial stew. It’d feed a Green Army for a fortnight.
I have telling my teens that biscuits and other palm oil goods are made from Baby Orangutan Blood for a couple of months now. “Yum, baby orangutan is my favourite flavour” is their reponse. Hyperbolic fail.
zut: Absolutely not! Article 47(c) of the Geneva Convention has a lot to say about dietary standards for POWs.
Will women be allowed to continue boycotting Toady’s cabinet?
Klewso, Toady is welcoming women to continue parliamentary duties. These are now contained not in a cabinet (as with the criminal Labor govt) but in Parliament House’s janitor cupboards. Not to mention the Members’ dining room kitchen and special duties buffing the parliamentary silver and brassware.
High achieving LNP women will be permitted to operate the parliamentary lifts. Be proud, Australia.
I’m a lemurnade guy myself.
Paddy, I must protest. There is absolutely nothing wrong with aubergine targine done with a recipe I found in a magazine. Klewso, I’m protesting by refusing to even countenance the thought of that man pointing his misogyny at me! He’s not the “Minister for this Woman”. Pimms anyone?
Zut, I heard he’s renaming Parliament House - “Toad’s Hall”?
Were there any females in “Wind in the Willows”?
Oooh, calls himself a canteloupe does Adrian?
What a wanker. He’s a rockmelon and he knows it.
Dear Q o N. After a lifetime of intensive research….I can only pity your tastebuds.
Paddy, I have one word to say to you. Babaganouch and Moussaka. My local Lebanese (Kanzaman in Bridge Road) does the Baba slightly smokey with just the right amount of lemon and garlic. Think I might go and get some to show solidarity with Brenda.
In Tony’s “Brave New World” (c), we will have to eat one of everything everyday to ensure we do not inadvertently take part in a secondary (or thirdly) boycott. Brave New World (c) huh? I expect Tone would be up for an orgy porgy… I wonder if refusing to part of that would also be construed as a secondary boycott?
The updated version of Joh for PM. I don’t know how they are going to keep this “feeding the chooks” BS up while their owner owns them and the chooks. Obviously has nothing to do with selling papers now; its all about the NBN. Is Helvetica the lesser of two weevils?
Exterminate them and put them in the curry (anyone old enough to remember that?)
And ratatouille would be desolate without eggplant.
EMC: At least Adrian’s beret hasn’t slipped. Too much Kale stew at the camp ?
Transgender? Really? I don’t think that word means what you think it means…
What is an Eggplant Boycott? Is it a classic Yorkshire dish traditionally served on Day 3 of the Headingly Test match?
Kale stew? Crazy Mama.
What a load of old Pakistani Daleks.
This is what’s wrong with the world.
Why does an advertisement for a certain roadside assistance club come to mind when I think of Mr Morrison “Boats what boats?” as he blunders around parliament with a towel over his head. Oh Paddy ….you do make me titter!
You poor old bugger.
Weevils are hermaphrodites, so what gender is Helvetica transitioning from/to? Anarcho-Syndicalist - The opposite of silly English Kings and Kahniggits. I can see a Monty Pythonesque satire on Toady and his merry men (and 1 woman who is usually overseas anyway) trying to lord it over those Wascally Weevils.
PS @Ianjohnno - I’m afraid ratatouille is desolate anyway its prepared. But I do like baba ganoush….
Mix the ratatouille with an Italian-style savoury mince and, if you wish, pasta.
Mmmmmm, I’ll try that. And FD, some place mats featuring this ‘toon please.
