Reading your article Guy makes it worth my subscription, let alone the good articles others write. JA has definitely upset the “boys club” at the Guardian and elsewhere.

JA is a charismatic person and both men and women have been affected by his charisma, hence the L Ron Hubbard analogy by Jemima Khan. I think it is fair to say that she was taken in by his charm. That is a separate issue to the work of WL and the Swedish warrant at hand. It’s a shame she hasn’t been able to separate the two.

Has JK been asleep at the wheel or what? Assange has repeatedly invited the Swedes to the embassy with their list of questions. It’s the Swedes who have determinedly avoided putting any questions to him.

Guy; the most important point is missed. Jimima Khan is the Executive Producer of “We Steal Secrets: The WikiLeaks Story” that WikiLeaks panned for obvious reasons. Imagine “I sleep with underage boys: The Guy Rundle Story”. Those in the film industry know what ‘Executive Producer’ means. It means you used your contacts for something. It is otherwise a vanity credit. After Fibney couldn’t get access to Assange, he used JK in exchange for the credit. That didn’t work either since WikiLeaks had heard bad things about Gibney’s approach.

After ‘We Steal Secrets’ was savaged at Sundance by Jennifer Robin and others, JK, wrote her nasty article… playing into all this are the figures of Helan Lewis, James Ball and Alistair Campbell who operated behind the scenes in the leadup.
