I have distant memories of Bronwyn Bishop being used by the right of the Liberal Party as destabilising influence on their leader. I see many similarities in Sandy Downer’s antics.

Dream on, Kevin! I notice you never tell us, the readers, of your own connections to the Liberal Party, here in SA.
The Liberals in SA have been a rabble for decades, and remain so. I think it is deceitful of people like you to always blame the Labor Party for the ills of their opponents.

A pertinent question may be whether all these various factions in Menzies’ South Australian Child ever add up to commanding a majority of votes in an election.
Or is it always some sort of dubious minority government of convenience which foists an “illegitimate” liberal leader over the majority who never ever vote for them?
