Of course the right thing to do would to have been report the leak to the AFP as potential threat to our national security. But the mob that allege this was in the public interest, let the terrorist know, with a front page spread that they should p#ss off quick because the cops were after them. There was a time this would have been considered treason & the reporter and his editor hung. We are stuffed. And there goes our democracy.
