Her personal strategy to becoming “rich” was to choose the right parents (father). Then happen to be holding the right commodities at the right time. There is so much we can learn from her.

I am certain it does not take too much imagination to pre-empt Gina’s solution to make her….sorry…the country rich. Something about wages and conditions too high for ordinary workers, lots of cheap labour only a boat load away, too much tax on the rich, welfare too high, those darned Easterners have too much say, climate change bah humbug, environment; what environment? etc, etc.
It’s good to see Martin Ferguson gets his visage in the book, Australia needs more Graham Richardson’s like him.

Bet she buys 10,000 copies just to bump the “circulation” figures. A month after launch there’ll be thousands in discount book shops, I just hope they make good compost.

Lest it be forgotten, Hancock ‘found’ the iron ore motherlode because his plane’s compass went nuts as flew north on yet another failing venture.
At the time, because iron ore was thought by governments, state & federal to be rare, it was illegal to export it, being a crucial ‘security asset’ during the Cold War paranoic era - memories of “Pig Iron” Menzies being still too raw.
SO Hancock, being the great patriot that he was, kept schtum about the find until he had secured leases on the areas (neither he nor Rhinohide have ever “owned” the resource, just the right to exploit it subject to due compensation to the common weal…HA!!)and lobbied his shyster mates to change the law on export.

Actually she probably did, then like every other senior management type in Australia decided that she would make better design decision and over-rode everything. I like that the font is nearly, but not quite comic sans… the type face of madness.

@ Jason. re the cover. It looks like she did it herself. I like the reverse Ned Kelly she’s got going on in the photo’. Not so keen on the maroon font of the subtitle.

Dear crickey (or Power index) I’m sure I’m not alone in wanting to learn more about the “Small Business Association of Australia” and Ms Rinehart’s role therein.
Seems with Gina as chairperson, the “Small” part of their moniker is oxymoron at best.
No suprise to see a mining magnate joining a pressure group in Queensland but I’m wonsering who else is involved and if “SBAA” has given money to the LNP (or connected in some more intimate way….?).
Please investigate.
