I must give Latham credit, for according to him being the first journalist to ask the man who would know about the requirement or not of lawyers to report on their clients. Give me a salad, with a large slice of a chance of winning, served with the shortest list of policies I can’t support - and the Greens can hold the balance of moderation in the upper house.

When it suits the Labor Party nationally is all the same Local, State and Federal, one political brotherhood. When the $hit hits the fan they are quick to distance the three levels from each other politically. It can’t change the fact that Labor Party numbers are so low they are inbreeding, to the detriment of Australian taxpayers. It sucks when a legitimate complaint about the political abuse of due process and corruption at the local government level is passed up to State level and ignored there. The two parties not much preferred just continue to act ignorant. Edward James

All this AWU stuff, from all sources, is just a beatup! It will not have the desired effect of removing Gillard.
However, IMHO none of it will matter - the Labor party will NOT win the next election with Gillard as PM. Too many of us remember how she got the position. And if you have to vote for her as the best of a bad lot? Forget it!!
I’d rather vote informal.

Get off it Mark Latham! It was reported Blewitt has made a statement to his legal council Gelbelly. It is Blewitt who is offering to give a statement to Victorian police if he is given some limited immunity from prosacution. Why is it when politicians are in deep =hit they keep claiming prove it in the court of law. Really Andrew Bolt and the obsession with Julia Gillard’s alleged past is typified by the recent horrendous false accusations against Lord McAlpine.

The internet and dodgy websites are used to prop up each false allegation. One site links to another and visa versa and each infers the truth by doing so.

And because some bloke says he will reveal all if he is excused prosecution (and why shouldn’t he be prosecuted if he has done something dodgy ?)is about as dirty as it gets.
