I hope you guys at Crikey are keeping a close eye on both Tate and the GCB's Chief Reporter Shannon Whilloughby's relationship via their pursual of a Cruise Ship Terminal on the Gold Coast. They have blazed trails, together with Federal Member Steve Ciobo, through the US and China, resulting in the Mayor and Campbell Newman offering the last piece of beachfront land on the Gold Coast (the Spit) for sale for $1. Power's conduct is irrelevant to his ability to act as Mayor. How about we let pollies use their influence to help their spouses get a leg up?
