A clearer picture from a long way away? The picture looks pretty much the same from the left wing press everywhere. It rushes to judgement before anything is really known. And it’s all our fault. Of course.
“Officials ‘knew safe landing was impossible’”, “desperate measures when system fails”, “political parties …… attempt to take hard line with voters”, “The tragedy that shames Australia”. Forget inquiries, the editors of the Guardian and the Independent have total clarity already.
Your unsubtle attempt at subtlety - condemning Australia through the Guardian and Independent - shows your lack of courage. You think it but you won’t say it.
