The debt argument for the libs is a gateway to chants of ALP waste and mismanagement - which if there is a debt means. I think the ALP have made the same mistake they did in 1996 - by not defending the 'Beazley blackhole' line run by the then Govt. In fact as they are now the Govt they should have managed this much better. As the ALP haven’t defended the debt well at all.
