Look, it's really quite simple. The glaciers are melting more despite the earth getting cooler because of the latest grades of ice forming being of the 'low melting point' variety. Despite this being an established fact (see Tobacco Institute figures) strangely enough I remain a 'global cooling denier' because I can. Alan B'stard

Dr Harvey M Tarvydas

You mention Mr Tony Abbott ‘using’ the publication so I feel here is the perfect place to highlight personal advise given to that very special man, one could be tempted to say, the extraordinary Rhodes Scholar,
“Tony, this is not the time to boast about your extraordinary low carbon footprint in terms of your toilet paper use being the lowest in the nation as it may be used against you as evidence of your anal retentiveness.

“Inheritance. The grandest motivator.”
Better still to inspire better understanding is the story about a Granddad called (happened to be named) Earth who had two dim witted but rather perverse grandsons whom had both made it to the ‘super 100’ club of the 100 top paid CEO’s on the planet.
The grandsons are at the most distinguished New York hospital taking advice from the leading neurosurgeon, leading neurologist and famous scientologist friend (who is a naturopath) about their dying granddad.

I suggest immediate surgery to remove the brain tumour said the Neurosurgeon.
Not before radiation therapy to lessen operative mortality risk said the Neurologist.
I suggest this is all crap, just spray pepper up his nose and he’ll sneeze the problem away said the famous thing.

The wealthy dimwits said “see they can’t agree on anything. It’s going to have to be grandma’s chicken soup”.
