LovelyFD. The fifth panel says it all really.
P.S.
After scouring youtube and being forced to listen to Barry Manilow.
Just so I could be sure I was singing from the same song sheet……..
That constitutes cruel and unusual punishment!!

Fantabulous piece of irony. Frame 5. The ultimate ouch. Frame 6 is nothing less than a masterpiece. Gerard has been waiting for his entire life for this moment; blithely unaware of preceding and ignoble gaffe. “¡Gerard Marimba! “¡Si!” will ring in my heart forever as will the Latin Americaness of Gerard poised for action.

It’s all almost too good to be true” Olé olé olé
PADDY: I see frame five as death, and frame six as resurrection. And I don’t mean this as in some crappy, christian, stone-age fairy-story.
I mean something far deeper and far greater. Something profound!
I usually sing Coco Cabana to my parrot, Coco. It will never be the same again.
