I am confused because the Clean Energy Council only last week put forward a very different analysis, namely that tax breaks are the key to helping the renewable energy sector - http://bit.ly/63lAeG (Two days after this press release the Council's Board was unanimously elected, so it is presumably the agreed position of the CEC). I have heard RET criticism like yours from many credible renewable industry insiders, so I wonder if you can suggest what the official industry position - the CECs - is all about?
