She made shooing gestures with her hands. Last night she was waffling on about Oz being a big country-how many Westerns have we seen saying the same thing? And virtually, bugger the amount of people in the cities, we, we poor sods, will overcome. Quite frankly, the world has grown up a bit these past few years, and outmoded shibboleths don't cut it any more. Not with the non-Catholics anyway BTW: I've noticed there's a bit of a push on against the Atheists by the Catholics. Something to keep an eye on. David Marr made fat Joe Hockey look as if he was standing in a hole. And dear fat Joe is going to give some speeches on his kind of god. Oh god, he will be another Catholic. So blo-dy predictable. Also he's trying to do a Kevin Rudd, who did the same thing. Kevin Rudd, another Catholic! Sure he's changed his religion, but not his spots.
