I read that as the University of East Brunswick. Which, if there was one, would not take calls from Andrew Bolt.

In the 60’s it was called the Uni of North Hogsfart, Iowa but Harry Potter sorta diluted that, if it is recalled at all.
All the women on Inciters deal with Rusty effectively, Feisty Fran, Yummy Mummy Mischa and Laconic Leonore. What i find bizarre in the inability of the blokes to make a dent - Marr tries but ends up scrunched in the corner of the “moderate” sofa, back turned and pretending to read a newspaper as Rusty raves.

It was a pretty funny moment in an otherwise tiresome show.

However…..(Firstdog take note) it didn’t quite reach the heights of this segment.

This ‘debate’ is, if nothing else, highly entertaining. If it’s even fractionally as productive as the space program was in terms of technological, cultural and commercial spin-offs it’ll all be well worthwhile. Bravo!

Ah yairs, but they both, and they all on the panel missed the real ‘laugh’. Bolt was right to say sea rise is only this much - 3 mm. But it’s grown exponentially in 20 years from 1mm per year or so.

Remember the folk story about one rice grain on the chess board. Double it, or whatever exponential rate you choose and the tiny becomes infinite very quickly.

But dumb arse high paid journos never inside a science lab don’t get exponential. Maybe they should become re-acquainted with Mr Gravity and Ms Nuclear Reaction. You can’t stop toddler little miss Exponential from growing.
