Malcolm Randall, mentioned in the article above is a close associate of Kiernan's and co-director in some companies; Randall is also a director of United Minerals Corporation, UMC, whose entire board is also being investigated by ASIC regarding a variety of issues relating to UMC and the BHP attempted takeover bid. ASIC is currently investigating the whole damn mess, including the role of Pitcher Partners’ Brian Hughes.
