Hitler was a fascist.

National Socialist Workers Party = NAZI in german

Leftists are pleased to characterise nationalism as right wing whilst many argue that it is essentially apolitical. Socialism is clearly leftwing

Nazism and communism although distinct are far from poles apart.

Less than 40% of Americans want any form the 5 bills or forms of Obamacare on offer.

Democracy at work you might say.

What is not democratic is to refuse access to a news organisation because it is deemed critical, or even to attempt to have the other news organisations to side with the White House in the this affrontery to free speech. Despite this, happily, all other news organisation repudiated the White House.

If this had been George Bush banning MSNBC there would have been calls and moves for impeachment.

The hypocrisy here is quite breathtaking.

A defence of free speech is fair enough, but if you are attacked it is also fair enough that you return the attack with interest.
As far as fascism and socialism are concerned one is generally regarded as extreme right wing politics the other as far left politics, so unless you are describing a circle, they are diametrically opposed to each other. Of course the end result may be as described. But it is a big stretch to describe the Obama administration in either of these terms. A reform of the health care system in the US is long overdue, and is in any case not in the gift of the President. He is currently attempting to get Congressional approval for his proposal. Democracy at work you might say.
This appears to be the reason for much pof the angst against the President.

What's so surprising about that Stephen Martin?

Nothing poor about the Obama administration but much to be concerned about.

Communism and Fascism are both forms of Totalitarianism, characterised by oligarchy, one party states and the banning of free speech.
